Diary Week 5, Term 3

I have now fully designed my shape to tesselate, so has Lachlan. After this entry I will post an image of my shape combined with my stage two reflection.
This week in maths we have started looking at time and time differences, we were4 also shown samples of the plastic we will use to create our shapes.

Diary

This week has been the first full week that I've devoted to studying goals, Daniel and I have chosen a long range Juninho freekick and Jay Jay Okocha's freekick against Aston Villa.
Hopefully my first findings will be up as soon as possible.
We have looked at tesselation and have also been starting lessons with Mathletics, facing off against people from all around the world in quickfire maths games.
This week is maths week and hence free subscriptions to Mahtletics for a week.

My Diary

Finally, we have begun.
I have found some goals ion youtube that Daniel and I will break down and recreate on Geometer's Sketchpad.
We've continued our work on Transformation, so far we've looked at reflection, rotation, translation, vectors and enlargement.

Term 3, Week 2

Another week and still no goal studying, but I hope to get going very soon now.
We've begun work om Transformation with exercises on reflection and rotation, to be posted on here within the next couple of days.
We've done a geometry test, the results of which will be posted next week, and I have posted the first half of my research essay on Deforestation and it's link to Water Resources. It's not maths but my blog is where it's supposed to go so here it is, the second half which looks at New Zealand will hopefully be posted tonight.

First Week Back

In our first week back after the holidays we've had just the one lesson to work on Geometer's Sketchpad, I'm well into the circle investigations and am itching to begin work on studying football goals.
After posting the fantastic report on my holiday (see below), I won a Dynamo Joe comic!!!

Second Diary Entry

Another week and I'm rolling along through the Geometer's Sketchpad work, I'm now on to studying circles using the program.

Ms. Cade showed the Roberto Carlos video to the class (see my GeoWatch on the page), and my blog now has a new colour scheme and a slideshow. I'm now going to do some research on the Master of Kung Fu's main character, Shang Chi.

My FIRST Diary Entry (woohoo!!!)

Wow, my first diary entry on Blogger, what to say, what to say...

Well, we have begun and I'm well into working on Geometer's Sketchpad and creating amazement. I've completed and blogged four investigations, and there's more coming. I've gained between 95% and 100% on all of my hot potatoes and fully customized my page.

This morning I showed a Youtube video breakdown of a Roberto Carlos goal, hopefully I can use the model of this analysation to create similar breakdowns of football goals and post them on this page, watch this space!...
